The Chrysler Aspen is a full-sized SUV designed for heavy towing capacities. It has a body-on-frame design which makes it more like a truck-base SUV than a crossover, and provides good off-roading capabilities. This also provides for a heavier vehicle that lends itself to a rough and tumble ride which requires a more powerful engine with lower fuel consumption. However, its spacious interior provides plenty of room for the family and the extra towing capacity is beneficial for long family trips.

The Chrysler Aspen is comes in two trim levels: the Limited and the Limited HEV. The latter is the hybrid version of this vehicle. Two-wheel or four-wheel drive is available on the Limited and standard features include automatic headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels clad in chrome, fog lamps, a rear parking camera and rear park assist, a driver seat that is powered, a power tail gate, a tilting steering wheel, second row seats that recline and third row seats that split and fold.
